Mechanical Engineer
Our client is a leader in electronics dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation in automation technologies.
They are currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer II to join their dynamic team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design: Lead the design efforts for automation equipment, including conceptualization, implementation, and documentation of mechanical solutions for a range of automated systems
(e.g., robotics, AGVs, tooling, conveyors).
Problem-Solving: Utilize advanced software tools such as SolidWorks with Simulation to analyze and optimize machine designs.
Collaborate closely with team members to devise innovative solutions to complex automation challenges.
Other Responsibilities: Conduct 3D modeling using SolidWorks, perform design verification and validation through FEA software and hand calculations, develop project bill of materials, participate in scope and specification meetings,
and liaise with the machine build group as required.
OTHERS
Travel: Occasional travel to customer sites, approximately 10% - 20% of the time, may be required.
Note: Candidates will undergo a short competency test during the interview process to assess technical proficiency and problem-solving abilities.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience.
Proficiency in CAD software, stress analysis, and materials science.
Desirable: Familiarity with fluid power systems and fabrication processes.
SALARY
USD 90,000 - 120,000 (based on experience)
