- Facilitate client engagements by overseeing staff work, coordinating with clients, and managing internal teams.
- Effectively manage deadlines and monitor engagement economics.
- Identify and resolve tax technical issues.
- Contribute insights for process improvement.
- Prioritize and handle evolving responsibilities efficiently.
- Offer expert domestic federal tax advice to both US and Japanese Inbound clients.
- Stay current on legislative changes influencing planning activities.
- Supervise high-performing teams, sharing valuable experience and knowledge.
- Cultivate relationships internally and externally, fostering collaboration.
- Generate practical recommendations for complex tax issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a graduate degree in Tax or Law, along with approximately three years of relevant work experience.
- Making progress toward (or completion of) a valid CPA certification or holding a licensed attorney status.
- Background in tax compliance, accounting for income tax, and a comprehensive understanding of US income taxation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and data mining tools.
- Effective prioritization skills in a dynamic environment, the ability to collaborate with clients' teams, and fluency in Japanese
- Willingness to travel and work in a balanced hybrid environment.
