Our client is a well-known Japanese manufacturing company recognized worldwide for its advanced technology in the field of ultra-precision molds.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing, analyzing, and maintaining accurate financial records
Acquiring and managing business loans
Maintaining the general ledger
Coding invoices, setting up new accounts, reconciling accounts, and closing monthly books
Performing general cost accounting and analyzing accounting results (e.g., actual ratio by expense item)
Reconciling bank accounts monthly, verifying deposits, and addressing bank inquiries
Managing cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts
Verifying and completing payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensuring payments are charged to the appropriate accounts
Establishing internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
Assisting external auditors by gathering necessary account information and documents for the annual audit
Filing tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies
Managing the purchasing and invoicing system
Planning taxes throughout the fiscal year and filing the annual corporate tax return
Presenting recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies
Providing financial analysis with emphasis on capital investment, price determination, contract negotiation, and fixed asset ledger management (e.g., fixed asset acquisition, gradual sale management)
Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
Performing other related duties as necessary or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
3 years or more of related experience in corporate accounting is required.
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
Ability to process Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bookkeeping, general ledger, monthly/quarterly closing, and asset management
Ability to correctly prepare tax reports
LOCATION
Current Workplace: Overland Park, KS
New Factory: De Soto, KS
Note: The location will change to De Soto after the factory is completed around May 2025.
WORK STYLE On-site
SALARY USD 60,000-65,000
