POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate Manager of Consumer Research will support the brand and business activities by extracting, analyzing, interpreting, and communicating research and results/data. This position reports to the VP, Consumer Research, who oversees all consumer research initiatives for North America and works closely with Global and HQ Consumer Research teams.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop research proposals and plan research methodologies based on business needs and objectives.
  • Lead or assist in the execution of quantitative and qualitative research projects from inception, hypothesis, questionnaire design, fieldwork, analysis, reporting/presentation to key stakeholders and business activation.
  • Manage research budgets and timelines to ensure research projects are within budget and timing scope.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, R&D, etc.) to identify business needs and ensure smooth implementation of research findings.
  • Ensure market research is derived from high-quality insights and integrated into the Company’s business strategies. 
  • Support global projects by conducting the US market and consumer research.
  • Actively seek and promote industry best-practice models and new insight capabilities leveraging internal and external expertise. 


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of solid client-side or agency experience, preferably within a leading FMCG or market research firm.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ track record of identifying and implementing strong consumer/shopper insights.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience conducting primary and secondary research utilizing qualitative and quantitative techniques.
  • Minimum of 3 years of analyzing and synthesizing data and information from different sources.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience leveraging syndicated services (POS Data, Panel Data, consumer trends, etc.) and sensory data and research.

 

LOCATION AND HOURS Irvine, CA, USA (Full-Remote)  

  • Hybrid or fully remote work will be considered based on the candidate's location, with a preference for local candidates who can commute to the Irvine office.
