POSITION SUMMARY
A Business Administrator ensures smooth business operations across multiple functional areas, including accounting support, business analysis and reporting, as well as procurement and inventory management, while valuing teamwork and not being confined to their own domain.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting Support:
Sales Tax Compliance & Monitoring
Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Coordinate with Accounting Firms
Business Analysis / Reporting:
Prepare Monthly Reports
Data Analysis for Insights
Procurement / Inventory Management:
Purchase Order Management
Inventory Control
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in e-commerce or retail industries
Technical Skills:
Proven experience in accounting support, business analysis, and procurement/inventory management
Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and PowerPoint
E-commerce experience is highly desirable
Familiarity with relevant accounting and inventory management software
Additional Skills:
Familiarity with Avalara, the sales tax calculation and filing system
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Business level Japanese, bilingual
