POSITION SUMMARY
Our client, a Japanese bank, is recruiting for the position of Chief Compliance Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and administer a risk-based compliance program (BSA/Sanctions and Corporate Compliance)
Oversee the execution of compliance activities, including testing, training, and risk assessments
Draft an annual compliance plan
Respond to information production requests from examiners and internal auditors
Prepare compliance-related MIS reports
Design and execute remedial actions to address regulatory findings
Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments within the scope of the Branch compliance program
Manage, develop, and mentor compliance staff
QUALIFICATIONS
10-15 years of broad compliance experience in BSA/Sanctions and Corporate Compliance in the financial services industry
Working knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to a NY state-licensed branch of a foreign bank
BS or BA degree, CAMS certification, proficiency in Microsoft Office suites, including Excel
SALARY USD200,000-220,000/year +bonus
