COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our client is a global company engaged in the manufacturing of automotive and industrial machinery parts. In addition to sales bases in the United States, they have manufacturing bases in Asian Countries. A new base will start full-scale operations from the fiscal year 2025. They aim to further expand sales in the United States by establishing a new sales office.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a sales Manager, you will be responsible for launching a new base and leading the acquisition of local customers and business expansion, aiming to further expand sales in the American market. You will be in charge of new customer development, sales team management, and overall base operations, focusing on sales activities in the American market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote new sales activities
Sales activities to Japanese, American, and European Tier-1 suppliers
Develop new business partners, mainly in the automotive industry
Plan and execute sales strategies
Build sales strategies based on market research
Formulate and manage sales plans
Manage the sales team
Organize team structure, train subordinates, and manage performance
Build customer relationships
Expand transactions with existing customers (local team already in place)
Build networks with local companies and suppliers
Support base establishment
Select properties and coordinate the establishment of local corporations
Formulate and execute base operation policies
QUALIFICATIONS
Business-level English proficiency for negotiations and discussions
Over 5 years of experience in manufacturing sales
Over 3 years of team management experience
Proven track record in new business development sales
Ability to work in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan
Ability to travel within the United States (mainly Midwest; Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois. Potential travel to Georgia, South Carolina, Canada, Mexico, etc.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS /SKILLS
Sales experience in the automotive industry
Experience in sales activities at overseas bases (especially in the Americas)
Proficiency in Japanese

SALARY USD 60,000-100,000
