Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer plays a pivotal role in supporting the maintenance team by ensuring equipment is efficiently maintained through strategic planning and technical expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage all aspects of assigned maintenance areas.
• Develop and maintain budgets for assigned areas.
• Generate reports and analyze data to assess performance levels.
• Plan and implement daily Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities.
• Organize and oversee scheduled shutdowns.
• Conduct repairs and necessary activities for assigned equipment.
• Maintain department records, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and drawings.
• Identify opportunities to enhance manufacturing processes.
• Monitor and manage inventory for required materials.
• Uphold safety protocols and practices.
• Maintain organized work areas adhering to 5S standards.
• Continuously strive to improve equipment performance and processes.
• Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the maintenance engineering department.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

• Equipment Maintenance, Repairing, and Troubleshooting
• Critical Thinking
• Equipment Selection
• 2-year Industrial Maintenance Degree or Journeyman card holder with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Industrial maintenance.
• Supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Commitment to safety standards and protocols
