As a Strategic HR Manager, you’ll partner with the president to craft and execute an HR strategy that supports the company’s objectives. Your multifaceted role includes aligning HR and workplace practices with strategic plans, ensuring policy compliance, and shaping effective procedures. You’ll engage in cross-departmental, forward-thinking development, serving as an administrator, planner, and strategist in a dynamic work setting.

Working Location: NY 10166  (Hybrid: 1-2 days onsite or less)

HR Management and Development
Employee Relations

Drive employee engagement to boost job satisfaction, mediate concerns to foster a positive work environment, advise leadership on complex issues, and connect divisions to resolve employee grievances.

 

Performance Management
Refine the evaluation system to match the company’s goals, train employees for awareness, manage evaluation records, and periodically update the system and policies.

 

Training and Development

Develop and manage professional training for employees, foster continuous skill advancement, particularly for leadership, and uphold required Federal and State training standards.

 

Talent acquisition

Develop and design the hiring process and grading criteria, and implement the contents to the related employees.

 

HR Policies and Compliance

Develop, Implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including payroll, compensation, and hiring.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
・3-5 years of experience in corporate-level Human Resource Management and/or generalist, or related experience
・1-2 years of experience in planning and implementing employee training and engagement
・People-oriented and result-driven
・Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and an ethical mindset
・Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
・Familiarity and experience with Federal and multiple state labor laws

・Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
・Experience in collaborating with and/or serving a wide array of individuals from various cultural backgrounds.
・Project Management or related experience is a plus.

 

SKILLS :

Required 
・English Language skills: must be able to read, write, and speak at business level
・Organization and Self-motivation: must be able to stay organized and self-motivated to meet company expectations and goals
・Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
・Strong understanding of change management principles and experience leading organizational transitional initiatives

 

Preferred

・Holding any of the following credentials is highly desired: PHR, SPHR, GPHR, SHRMCP, SHRM-SCP would be a plus

・Experience working as a HR staff during an organizational transition in which the company grew in number of employees exponentially is a plus
