POSITION SUMMARY
In this position, you will leverage your extensive product knowledge and understanding of industry trends to seek out new business, communicate directly with clients and prospects, understand their needs, and recommend products or services that maximize value.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and acquire new business and prospects seeking automation engineering services
Manage and develop strong relationships with assigned customer accounts by understanding clients' needs, production goals, and outlook through frequent visitation and communication
Create quotations and manage project schedules, budgets, and marketing strategies
Work closely with and support engineering throughout projects' timelines by collaborating with suppliers, subcontractors, and administration
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Present and demonstrate the value of products and services to prospective buyers
Compile and analyze data to discover trends
Stay current on company offerings and industry shifts
Develop sales strategies and set individual quotas
Build long-lasting, amicable relationships with contacts to create a better customer experience
Professionally resolve complaints and concerns
Provide excellent post-sales support to increase customer dedication
Respond to issues quickly and aim for complete customer satisfaction
Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
Create and process orders in a timely manner and frequently review pending orders
Perform data entry tasks for sales figures, metrics, and other relevant information
Report any unusual or unsafe activities to supervisors
QUALIFICATIONS
4-year Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field
Knowledge of manufacturing industries (e.g., Automotive, Food & Beverage)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Organization and attention to detail are a must
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Flexible schedule and willingness to work outside of Kentucky when required
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Familiarity with automation components (PLCs, etc.) is a plus but not required
Proficiency in Japanese language is a plus but not required
SALARY USD80,000-100,000
