POSITION SUMMARY

IT company is seeking a bilingual (Japanese/English) Sales Representative in their Manhattan office. The Sales Representative will drive sales growth and maximize revenue for our network and system integration services. This role involves identifying market opportunities, developing new business, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Proficiency in Japanese and 2-3 years of B2B sales experience are preferred.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Increase and maximize sales revenue and profit for network and system solutions, and system integration.

  • Develop sales of products and services related to network solutions and system integration.

  • Identify competitive market opportunities and maintain effective communication with existing and potential customers.

  • Conduct sales calls, develop new business, and provide proposals, bids, and project information to potential customers and influencers.

  • Collaborate with Professional Services and Cloud Services departments to plan, coordinate, and implement sales strategies.

  • Contact existing customers to explore potential business expansion opportunities.

  • Execute sales promotional activities, including customer visits and phone outreach to potential clients.

  • Prepare, review, and enter account information for monthly invoices in the internal system as part of the closing process.

  • Create and deliver presentations, proposals, reports, and quotations to customers.

  • Maintain relationships with existing customers to maximize satisfaction and cross-sales opportunities.

  • Prepare sales forecasts, annual budgets, and sales plans.

  • Assist the provisioning staff with post-sales service startup for customers.

  • Support the accounting team in collecting overdue payments from assigned accounts.

  • Develop sales promotional materials and deliver presentations to customers.

  • Stay updated with industry and market trends through ongoing research.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Background in computer-related studies is preferred, though not mandatory with relevant experience.

  • 2-3 years of professional experience, particularly in B2B (corporate sales), is preferred.

  • Japanese language proficiency is required due to the nature of our client base.

  • New graduates without IT-related backgrounds may find this role challenging.

     

REPORTING STRUCTURE

This position reports to the Manager of Customer Support, the General Manager of Professional Services, or the Chief Operating Officer. Additional reporting may be assigned by the President & CEO if needed.


SALARY

$50,000-$90,000/year, company benefits such as medical insurance, vacations are available.
