POSITION SUMMARY
Our client is seeking sales staff for their US office, primarily responsible for selling consumables to four-wheel factories. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn about products, the industry, and internal processes at our head office in Japan. This position starts as a sales role within the Factory Solutions business, with potential for advancement to a local representative position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Factory Solutions Business
Products: Custom jigs and tools, mold parts, other equipment consumable parts, custom equipment, other tools, sub-materials, etc.
Customer Engagement
- Follow-up with existing and new customers
- Coordination of appointments through visits, phone calls, and emails
- Preparation of quotation/proposal materials and specifications
- Inspection/quality improvement, delivery, etc.
In-house Operations
- Coordination with manufacturers and subcontractors
- Preparation of meeting minutes
- Preparation of sales activity materials
- Sales value management
- Expense reimbursement
- Other reporting duties
EC Products
- Product development planning and proposals
New Merchandise
- Assist in sales of new merchandise, including coating products
Sales Area
- Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee
QUALIFICATIONS
- Occasional business travel requiring overnight stays (up to 2 weeks)
- Driver's license
- Proficiency in English or Chinese (no qualifications required, but must be able to give presentations) would be an advantage
- PC skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience in the manufacturing industry or sales experience in a similar industry
- Highly motivated, positive, and willing to take on challenges
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to read drawings (able to visualize three-dimensional objects from 2D drawings)
SALARY/BENEFITS
USD 70,000 - 120,000
