COMPANY OVERVIEW

This company was founded in 2023 and expanded its operations in January 2024 by acquiring a platform specializing in specialized medical care. Currently, it manages a network of clinics across the United States, providing high-quality care.

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Handling a variety of legal issues in collaboration with senior management, depending on the nature of the issues.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Support corporate governance and provide day-to-day legal guidance to various business functions.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate standard contracts, including NDAs, service agreements, and vendor contracts.

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. federal and state laws, as well as basic international regulatory requirements.

  • Provide legal support for employment matters, intellectual property issues, and smaller-scale mergers or acquisitions.

  • Collaborate with external counsel for litigation or complex regulatory issues.

  • Maintain organized systems for legal documentation, including contracts and compliance records.

  • Identify and address potential legal risks in business operations.

  • Conduct research on legal and regulatory changes relevant to the company’s operations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • 5+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate law, including experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.

  • Demonstrated experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts (e.g., NDAs, service agreements).

  • Proven track record in advising on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters in U.S. and international contexts.

  • Experience in managing mergers & acquisitions is highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of U.S. federal and state laws, as well as international legal frameworks.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Strong problem-solving and risk assessment skills.

  • Proficiency in working with cross-functional teams and external counsel.

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Experience in subsidiary entity governance.

  • Previous in-house legal experience or experience in a healthcare or service industry is desirable.
