POSITION SUMMARY
As an IT Support Engineer, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and support client systems (PCs, printers, servers, cloud systems, routers, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi), and implement network and system installation plans based on specifications.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend internal and external (customer, vendor) meetings
Report daily, weekly, and monthly on projects and operations
Organize the team as a Team Leader
Improve skills and performance to accomplish assigned tasks
Travel domestically and internationally if needed
Create and update system documents, operation manuals, knowledge bases, and trouble histories
Maintenance Work (Tier2):
Respond to customer inquiries and system alarms
Address customer issues via email/phone and resolve problems
Collaborate with vendors to solve system issues
Manage and close inquiries/issues from start to finish
Propose and improve systems to reduce customer issues
Document outage/system problem reports
Kitting Work:
Create PC labels and ship out PCs
Perform kitting work according to procedures and record logs
Create manuals for customers
Help Desk Work (Tier1):
Respond to customer inquiries and system alarms
Address customer issues via email/phone and resolve problems
Create and manage tickets in the ticket system
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency in English and Japanese (required)
3+ years of experience as an IT Support Engineer
3+ years of experience in AD administration, WVD, O365, and security
CCNA/CCNP/Network+ (preferred)
MCSA/MCSE (preferred)
Strong communication skills with customers, vendors, and staff
Documentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
Valid CA driver's license (required)
Own car for visiting customer offices
SALARY USD70,000-90,000
