POSITION SUMMARY
A Japanese food trading corporation is seeking a Sales Assistant to join their team. The Sales Assistant supports the Mainstream Market's sales team by handling office and administrative tasks, including order entry, phone calls, and data management. They also assist with marketing programs and coordinate cross-company promotions. This is a hybrid position!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Service & Order Management: Provide outstanding customer service, process sales and purchase orders, and handle inquiries and complaints.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage office tasks including document filing, invoice printing, and payment processing.
- Inventory & Product Information: Check inventory, recommend alternatives for out-of-stock items, and provide product information to customers.
- Sales & Marketing Support: Assist with sales data management, market research, competitor awareness, and marketing materials.
- Coordination & Reporting: Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and office personnel to expedite orders and prepare sales reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent experience
- 1 to 2 years of experience in an office environment, sales support, or business experience
- Japanese/English bilingual
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Knowledge of general office operations
- Excellent interpersonal skills for working and communicating with diverse employees at all levels of the organization
BASE SALARY USD45,000-62,400 (DOE)
