POSITION SUMMARY
In this role, you will drive business development and technical sales efforts in the water infrastructure, civil engineering, and hydropower sectors, providing engineered solutions for public water and wastewater utilities, private water treatment facilities, and pipeline rehabilitation projects. International travel may be required to support business expansion efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to expand market presence in water infrastructure, civil engineering, and hydropower sectors.
Provide technical expertise on water and wastewater treatment solutions, pipeline rehabilitation technologies, and hydropower integration.
Establish and maintain relationships with municipal utilities, engineering firms, contractors, and private-sector clients.
Work closely with the Business Development Manager to align sales efforts with company growth strategies.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and feasibility assessments based on client needs.
Conduct on-site evaluations and recommend engineering solutions tailored to specific projects.
Collaborate with internal engineering, project management, and R&D teams to refine and optimize solutions.
Stay informed about industry regulations, emerging technologies, and market trends.
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
Manage the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and project execution.
Be open to international travel as needed for project support and business development.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or engineering within the water treatment, pipeline rehabilitation, or hydropower industries.
Strong understanding of municipal and industrial water treatment systems, sewer infrastructure rehabilitation, and hydropower applications.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with municipal agencies, engineering consultants, and private-sector clients.
Proficiency in preparing and delivering technical proposals, reports, and presentations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
Experience with public procurement processes, government contracts, and regulatory compliance in water infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with GIS mapping, hydraulic modeling, SCADA systems, or advanced filtration technologies.
Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to water and wastewater treatment, hydropower, and infrastructure rehabilitation.
