POSITION SUMMARY

As the Director of Talent Strategy and Organizational Development, you will shape and execute strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness and develop talent to drive business success. Your role will focus on creating a high-performing culture, fostering leadership development, and designing innovative workforce strategies aligned with our mission and growth goals.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Talent Leadership: Lead the development and execution of a talent strategy aligned with the company's mission and business objectives.

  • Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning: Develop innovative recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.

  • Performance Management and Leadership Development: Implement and refine performance management systems that promote fairness and transparency.

  • Strategic Compensation Input: Align compensation frameworks with organizational values and market trends.

  • Culture and Organizational Development: Foster an inclusive and dynamic workplace culture.

  • Change Management and Transformation: Provide strategic and cultural guidance during organizational transformations.

  • Legal Compliance and Strategy: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience.

  • Proven ability to build consultative and collaborative relationships across all organizational levels.

  • Strong expertise in change management and leading organizational transformations.

  • Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and regulations.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of people management experience.

  • Experience supporting HR functions in multinational organizations.

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or service-oriented industry is a plus

LOCATION

This position is primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings in the Chicago area every few months. Additionally, travel may be required to visit existing business locations or potential new M&A sites.
