POSITION SUMMARY
A Japanese food trading corporation is seeking an Outside Sales Associate to join their team. This role involves meeting sales targets, visiting customers, ensuring timely payments and deliveries, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet sales quotas and visit customers, especially Japanese-speaking clientele, to provide support and sell products.
- Ensure timely payments and deliveries by coordinating with the accounting department and warehouse.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through excellent service, prompt communication, and educating customers on product benefits.
- Manage orders in the company database and participate in sales meetings, inventory counts, and company events.
- Perform other duties as assigned and respond to management requests.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years of food wholesale/distribution experience required, preferably in the Japanese food industry.
- Business level Japanese required; Native level Japanese strongly preferred.
- Conversational level English required; Business level English preferred.
- Has basic Microsoft Office proficiency
Possesses basic mathematical knowledge such as counting inventory, markup and discount calculations, weight and measurement conversions, combining, etc.
BASE SALARY USD48,000-65,000 Base (DOE) + Commission
